This privacy policy describes how OakFerry SRL ("OakFerry", "we", "our") processes personal data collected through the website oakferry.eu. OakFerry is registered in Romania with CUI RO47821930. This policy is prepared in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Romanian Law 190/2018.
1. Data We Collect
OakFerry collects the following categories of data when you interact with this website:
- Contact form submissions: Name, phone number, and email address submitted through the contact form on the homepage. This data is used solely to respond to your message and is not shared with third parties.
- Server logs: IP address, browser type, referring URL, and page accessed, retained for up to 30 days in standard server access logs. These logs are used exclusively for security monitoring and infrastructure troubleshooting.
- Cookies: A single first-party cookie (oakferry_cookie_consent) records your acceptance or rejection of this notice. No third-party tracking cookies are set. No analytics platform is installed on this site.
2. Legal Basis for Processing
Contact form data is processed on the basis of your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), given by submitting the form. Server log data is processed on the basis of legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) in maintaining site security. Cookie preference data is processed on the basis of consent.
3. Data Retention
Contact form submissions are retained for 90 days after the final reply in the conversation, then deleted. Server logs are automatically purged after 30 days. The cookie preference record expires after 365 days and is renewed on your next visit.
4. Your Rights Under GDPR
As a data subject, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data held about you (Article 15).
- Correct inaccurate data (Article 16).
- Request deletion of your data (Article 17), subject to any legal retention obligations.

5. Cookies
